Vehicle Dynamics - Automotive Applications

In the field of vehicle dynamics for automotive applications, topics of classic vehicle lateral dynamics and in particular, research topics of vertical and longitudinal dynamics of vehicles for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and special vehicles are processed. Especially, issues in the areas of driver modeling, tire characterization, hybrid vehicles, modeling and integration of mechanical and mechatronic components are treated, with an overall focus on the development of tools and methods for early design phases.
