ViFDAQ is a mobile and wireless data-acquisition system that was developed at the VIRTUAL VEHICLE. Minimum size – Maximum performance

ViFDAQ offers an amazing scope of services at a minimum size. It is fully autonomous and independent of a host (e.g. PC, Laptop or mobile) and can perform a variety of measurement tasks, thereby making measurements easier and cheaper.

Intersectoral application range

The applications of ViFDAQ, which clearly extend beyond the automotive sector, range from wind turbines and industrial applications and processes to the medical sector (e.g. checking the functionality of hip joints). This small universal researcher is currently in use in research projects for force-moment-measurement and in a vehicle fleet to determine the driving parameters within the project VECEPT. In the near future, it will also be driven into a wall – specifically, in crash test trials in the field of material research.

Interest in this smart universal genius and useful tool is definitely high among the international research partners of the VIRTUAL VEHICLE, and more research projects are already being planned.
