Posters should not be bigger than A0 (A0 = Width x Height = 33.1 x 46.8 in = 841 x 1189 mm) and should be mounted in upright position.
Posters should be displayed the whole symposium. Posters should be mounted as soon as possible on Sunday and should be removed on Thursday.
The foreseen place to mount the poster will be indicated by a sign (mounted by the organizers) showing the number of the poster. The number of the poster can be found in the Book of Abstracts.
Please only use tapes and tacks provided by the organizers at the registration desk.
The poster-session will be held on Monday, June 13th from 17:30-19:00 – presenters are expected to be available for discussion.
There will be a poster-prize competition. A jury will select three posters to be rewarded. The award of the poster-prizes will take place at the closing ceremony. The poster-prizes are sponsored by Wiley-VCH.
Speakers are requested to upload their presentations at the latest in the break before the session the presentation is scheduled. A computer operating with Windows / Office 2010 is available. Presenters are encouraged to bring their presentation in pptx AND in pdf format.
Alternatively, the use of speakers’ own computers is possible (for Apple users it is recommended to bring an adapter for a VGA plug). Speakers are requested to connect their computers in the break before the session the presentation is scheduled.
All lecture types (plenary: 45 min; invited: 30 min; contributed: 20 min) are scheduled including discussion!
The adherence to time schedules is of crucial importance – chairwomen and chairmen are requested to keep the sessions in time.
There will be a speaker-prize competition. A jury will select one contributed lecture to be rewarded. The award of the speaker-prize will take place at the closing ceremony.
